Software Engineer

We are looking for an individual to join our growing engineering team, working on new projects, and helping to expand and enhance already established projects. 

Who You Are 

A full stack engineer with experience designing, building, and implementing applications utilizing multiple frontend, backend, and database technologies. 

Responsibilities 

  • Build web applications utilizing C# on the .Net Core framework 

  • Build robust frontends utilizing the Vue framework 

  • Participate in planning sessions centered around software architecture 

  • Maintain client packages for external APIs 

  • Work closely with infrastructure teams on design and implementation of solutions 

  • Design and implement database schemas to meet application needs 

Requirements 

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled engineer with a proven track record. We are a small and growing company in which the right candidate can accelerate their career progress.  In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, you should have: 

  • 2-5 years of experience 

  • Functional experience in a development role 

  • Proficient in C# 

  • Proficient in Javascript 

  • Proficient in SQL 

  • Experience with version control systems (we use Git) 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Demonstrable ability to collaborate with other engineers, as well as with non-technical business users 

  • Located in Western New York / No remote applications 

Nice to Have 

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) 

  • Experience with the .Net Core framework 

  • Experience with the Vue framework 

  • Experience with the Linux CLI 

  • Experience with NoSQL 

  • Experience with Message Queues 

  • Experience in high compliance environments
