About Keith
As Director of Community Health & Safety, Keith Brown, MPH, works with municipalities and groups to develop and implement innovative, evidence-based approaches to complex issues like substance use, mental health, homelessness, and overdose.
Keith has over 20 years of experience providing direct services to individuals impacted by HIV and other chronic illnesses, as well as prevention services for communities and individuals at-risk for HIV, Hepatitis C, and other conditions. He is the former Executive Director of a multi-service community-based nonprofit organization and a founder of Project Safe Point, the Capital Region's first syringe exchange and comprehensive harm reduction program.
